Gary has held creative and strategic leadership roles with some of the most notable Canadian and international branding firms: SFP, FutureBrand, Gottschalk+Ash International, and Interbrand.

Bridging the gap between brand strategy and brand identity, he has a keenly developed understanding of the intimate, intricate, critical interrelationship of ideas and how they are expressed.

A graduate of the Ontario College of Art, Gary is a member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario. An active leader in the design community, Gary has sat on the Board of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada and has been a speaker for design, professional, and technology organizations across Canada – including a cross-country lecture tour for Apple. He has appeared in the press and on radio and television discussing branding issues.

Gary has also taught degree-level courses in institutional branding, graphic design, and advanced typography at Toronto’s acclaimed OCAD University, and Conestoga College’s School of Creative Industries Bachelor of Design program. He has served as a guest instructor on visual identity at Kent State University and a frequent lecturer on branding and identity at Sheridan College and Centennial College.
